If the water is not too acidic, washing with water generally will not cause color fading, but do not soak for too long.
8. Care Instructions for T-shirts and Cotton Fabrics After Transfer Printing
① Newly transferred T-shirts may feel a little stiff; they will become softer after washing.
② Newly processed T-shirts should not be washed until 2 hours after application. Turn the garment inside out before washing.
③ Do not rub the surface of the printed design (the material on the printed surface will not attract dirt).
④ Do not use detergents containing bleach.
⑤ Wash with warm water below 40°C or cool water.
⑥ Avoid machine washing if possible.
⑦ After washing, do not tumble dry.
⑧ Air dry naturally; do not wring the garment or expose the T-shirt to direct sunlight.
If the garment needs ironing, it can be steam-ironed at a medium temperature after drying (do not iron garments containing elastic fibers at high temperatures to avoid damaging the elastic fiber structure and affecting the garment's elasticity). Do not iron directly on the pattern.
After ironing, do not stuff the garment into a small space. Hang it on a hanger or lay it flat to maintain its smooth shape.
9. Which is better for printing clothes: using transfer ink + regular paper or using transfer paper + regular ink? What about the cost?
The costs are similar. Clothes printed with transfer paper or heat transfer paper will have a layer of adhesive, while those printed with transfer ink will not.
